Faculty:                  At present the Department is headed by Dr. A. Satish Babu, M.Com, P.G.D.B.A., M.Phil., Ph.D., an alumnus of this College joined  this Department in April 1989. He is interested in Tax laws. He has 42 papers to his credit and attended 10 seminars and workshops. His Ph.D., thesis has been published by a reputed publisher.                    Sri. S. Krishnarjuna Rao, M.Com, M.B.A., B.L., D.E.M., a product of Acharya Nagarjuna University joined this Department in January 1989. His area of specialization is Management. He has published 2 papers and participated in 7 seminars                   Dr. K.C.S. Ranganayakulu, M.B.A., Ph.D., a product of Andhra University Department of Commerce and Management studies joined this Department in February 1977. He published a good number research papers in reputed Journals and   2 books. He has organized a national U G C Seminar.                   Dr. V.K. Bhaskara Rao, M.Com., Ph.D., a product of Andhra University, Dept. of Commerce and Management studies joined this Department in July 1977. His areas of specialization include industrial economics, financial services and HRD. Recipient of the Best Teacher Award in 2000 – 01 from Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. This reputed teacher regularly contributes articles to several regional and national news papers and Journals. Dr. V.K. Bhaskara Rao a prolific writer, has so far attended more than 20 academic conferences and seminars and delivered about a dozen talks on Akashavani (All India Radio). So far he has published more than 80 articles. His Ph.D., thesis has been published by Deep & Deep Publishers, New Delhi . He is engaged in a U G C Major Research Project.                   Dr. J. Lakshmi Prasad, M.Com., Ph.D., joined  this Department in   1978. He is interested in HRD and  Accounting. Sofar published 9 papers and attended 6 seminars. This enthusiastic teacher rendered his services to our PG NSS unit for 2 years. He also acted as Mandal Resource Person in 2001 for Janmabhoomi programme                   Sri. N.J Bhushanam, M.Sc., M.A. (Eco), a product of Andhra University joined this Department in   Nov 1978. His interests are in Quantitative Techniques and Econometrics.                   Dr. J. Revathy, M.Com, M.Phil., Ph.D., an alumnus of this College joined this Department in   Nov 1982. Her areas of specialization include Taxation and Finance. She has published 10 papers and attended 8 seminars.                   Sri. B. Srinivasa Rao, M.Com, M.Phil, a product of Nagpur University joined this Dept. in January 1989. His area of specialization is Labour laws. He attended about half-a-dozen seminars/workshops.                   Dr. A. Sarda Devi, M.B.A., M.Phil, M.Ed., Ph.D., joined this Department in  March 1985. Her area of specialization are Management and Organizational Behaviour. She prepared study material in Management and attended 10 national and 20 International Conferences. She published 8 papers. She renders social service in the areas of HIV/AIDS Awareness, Woman empowerment and micro credit and income generation activities. She acts a resource person on Human Rights. Visited several Countries.               Dr. B. Radha, M.Com, M.Phil., Ph.D., joined this dept. in August 1985. Her areas of specialization are Organizational behavior and Business Environment. She published 3 papers and attended 6 seminars.
